Cemetery Vases Half Exposed - Sits Flush when Inverted

The vase is a die-cast Zinc, the casing (base) is a polymer material

Half-Level. Created from die-cast zinc. Locking vase feature provides stability. Flange around bottom of casing resists frost-heaving. Tapered vase prevents clogging. Finger notches in casing rim. Top portion of vase can be turned upside-down and placed into the bottom section when not in use.+â-é 

• Vase: 4-1/4" Dia. x 7-1/4"H.
• Casing: 3-3/4" Dia. x 7-3/8"H with 3/4" rim.+â-é 

As long as your vase and/or casing is flush with the ground, there should be no issues with mowing over the top of the vase. If the cemetery is in an area where the ground freezes OR in an earth quake area (or other), where the earth can be disrupted and push the urn or casing out of the ground, the vase should be visibly checked year to year for that reason.
